The word choice of my poem is central to its meaning. The poem is intended to represent anger, and the word choice reflects it through violent diction such as "slain" and "devoured". Other options allowed for other emotions to be evoked, such as sadness, but each word in this poem is intended to just ooze anger.
Tone words I would use to describe my intention: violent, wrathful, and inflammatory
The intended mood is one of pure hatred for whatever caused the speaker to feel this way.
