My blog should, supposedly, be a representation of me. Well then, what, exactly, does my blog show me to be? Let's begin with the text. I chose a font that's not too flashy, but at the same time has a little more flair than your standard Times New Roman affair (also, Helvetica wasn't an option). Furthermore, the text style is called "Crimson Text," which I find fascinating, particularly because red is my favorite color. Moving forward, the text is also rather small, which is beneficial to me, because my writing tends to be long. The serif adds a nice touch as well, and therefore I find the text appealing.

I also find the colors appealing. Despite my statement earlier, white and black are my two most used colors. Why? Because both represent extremes, making it easy for me to contrast something else with them. Thus, the white text on a snappy black background. This color choice is also a direct contrast to the typical view of digital text, representing my tendency to take a new angle on old ideas. But if I like red, black, and white, why is my background a picture of colorful lines of light? As it turns out, much of my life is like balancing on a high wire, and the slimness of these lines, represents that. Furthermore, the many colors represent the varied interests of my life, from politics to music to STEM, my life is quite the mixed bag of events.

So, without further ado, I give to you, my readers, Blogging Risking Absurdity.
